What has life come to?

I am not trying to belittle the entrepreneurial spirit, nor the individuals who began this company.

I must admit that I see no need for this. Can't any shirt be untucked? Allah save us from this type of waste as the money and energy could be utilized to save this

Is this what the fashion world has to offer?

In all honesty, this has be the greatest example of, if the company is successful, market creation I have ever seen.

The Synchronicity of Driving

Not that I have conducted an exhaustive survey, however, I have noticed that as a driver I experience a great deal of synchronicity. Meaning that for no great deal of visual attention, I turn me head or eyes in the direction needed.
While in motion, needless to say, my eyes are constantly moving. While at rest, meaning the vehicle is not in motion, I find my attention drawn to people, places or objects that in other circumstances I would not turn my attention towards.
Why is this? Even in motion I find myself looking where I need to. Even if the point of attention did not grab my attention. Still I find my self looking where I need be.

After many years we return to serve.

To all those who miss reading the insights of passengers and others who speak to rearview mirror reporters we return with a new client base.

This is the new Vehicle

two for the minds of many

So expect a stark contrast from our previous work. Those who utilize the AAR service are unable to use public transportation. AAR provides door-to-door service (meaning curb-to-curb as drivers cannot assist passengers up or down stair, nor enter buildings) for the same range of society that makes use of public transportation.
Therefore, name of passengers will be pseudonyms and only what we feel will be of ethical or intellectual benefit will be mentioned. Naturally there will be critique of the current AAR protocols in an effort to stream line the service.
For all intents and purposes, this is a new blog, and only the name will remain. The goal is the same however an mentioned above: to enlighten and explore the minds of readers an  passengers alike that we can aid in the growth of humanity by bringing to the public discourse a heretofore largely unknown existence of a segment of the population treated with, unfortunately, very little respect.

Why I am SOOO disappointed with people.

I was once employed. I liked my job and the people whom I provided services to liked me. I never had any complaints. I wrote a blog entry about a conversation I had with an individual by the name of Aderonke Egbeyemi. When we spoke, she spoke freely. She gave me her opinion and I gave her mine. I wrote and posted our conversation on my site and thought no more about it.
Then, some time later, I received a phone call from Dial 7, the company I worked for, saying that I needed to remove the blog entry about her immediately.
I complied because they threatened my job. They used their flimsy C.Y.A. semantics and left me with an offer I couldn’t refuse.
Later in time I had a few personal problems that hindered me from paying the man I rented my car from, so I had to return it to him. At this time Dial 7 said that they “were closing my account.” This is their similar C.Y.A. semantics way of saying I was fired. When I finally spoke to the General Manager, Tarek Mullah, he said it was because of the website.
Then when I went back they said, “You never worked here, it was the car that you drove that was affiliated with the base.”
However, at this point I will not go in to the exploitation of drivers who are called “Independent operators”, suffice to say that as long as they earn money for their ‘Affiliate Base’, all is well. However, if illness or any other problems arise, the Base will let the wolves eat their sheep, for in their minds their are plenty of other sheeps to be fleeced in the car service/ black car industry.
So this woman, Ms. “Aderonke Egbeyemi, whether she wanted to or not, got me fired!!!
The site was, and is, run by ME, not Dial 7. She could have contacted me directly.
So I’m writing this so people know what the repercussions of their cowardly acts. All she had to do was contact me. Dial 7 should have called her bluff. I had no complaints. I have heard of drivers who have stolen money from passengers credit cards, drivers who outright PUNCHED a passengers in the face! Drivers who smell like a bag of rotten onions!
This “woman” Aderonke Egbeyemi was the only “person” to complain. If you want to see what I wrote about her in the “How people intellectually hide” entry. Read it and see if anything their is worth suing over.
This situation arises from the fact that they don’t understand what the first amendment of the constitution means. This lack of knowledge is why the owner of Dial 7 fired me. She, the owner of Dial 7, has absolutely no understanding of what free speech means and what slander means. For the truth is NEVER slander!
Look to the example of Anthony Wiener, or Dominique Strauss-Kahn. The truth was told about them and with their money and influence they could have legally crushed the women who told the world of their transgressions.
Yet, like Allah says in the translation of the meaning of the Quran, when the truth arrives falsehood flees and falsehood is always fleeing.
In my opinion it is this mentality of that I destroying America. A mentality that thinks that one can sue for anything. That a law suit is a good thing and is the first course of action one should take, when in fact litigation is supposed to be the last recourse.
We all see what becomes of a country in which litigation is viewed as a ‘lottery’ winning, or easy money. One of the huge costs in medicine is the liability insurance. Doctors have to pass that expense on to their patients. And thus we find the elderly and folks with perminent disabilities or chronic illness finding themselves either on the verge of bankruptcy, on public assistance, social security insurance or in a few other categories in which they are in need of financial support because their medical expenses have either completely depleted their savings or will deplete their savings.
I called recently for some information I need for Unemployment insurance, and the man who works for their ‘Driver Relations’ refused to give me his last name. At this point in time I can’t remember it, however, I already gave it to the folks at Unemployment. It is this complete lack of professionalism, courtesy, and respect that is DESTROYING this city and this nation.

Why the Taxi and Limosine Commision is a worthless and stupid bureaucracy.

As some of you are aware I do not have a spotless record. I had several encounters with the Criminal Justice System (or Just-us system) in my early adulthood) . It was through practicing Islam that got me clean.
I then attended community college and it was in community college when one of my brothers suggested I get a cab license. After about six or seven months he gave me the money to get the license.
I went to the T. & L.C. office in Queens.
As I handed in the application and the court deposition of my criminal history the woman said, “Perhaps you should apply for the ‘For-Hire’ license. If you get it, then take the yellow cab classes and then apply. If they deny you the F.H.V. license, you won’t lose that much money.”
“Ok, I’ll do that. Thank you.” I replied.
A few weeks later I received a letter requesting a deposition of my first arrest. At this point I need to inform you that my first arrest is only on my NYPD rap sheet. It is NOT on my court or conviction record because the charges were completely dropped.
I then began a game of phone tag with a bureaucrat from the Taxi and Limousine commission. I told him the circumstances surrounding that arrest and I finally got my license.
Now the license I have limits me to only operate ‘For-Hire’ vehicles, not yellow cabs. So I can drive for local car services and what are known as black car services.
After working with Dial 7 for about a year I felt that I should get a Yellow cab license (hack) because in the summer work with Dial 7 slowed down.
This meant that I had to attend classes and re apply for the yellow cab license. I took the classes and passed the test. At this point I received a letter stating that I would have to have a hearing to further determine as to whether or not I should receive a hack license.
I met with the woman who decides if I get the license or not by the name of Mrs. S. Landis, the Administrative Law Judge. She understood nothing I said. She asked me about my drug history, I responded stating that it was part of a past I’m not proud of and I’m trying to move on from that part of my life and after the hearing she said, “You appear to be completely unrepentant.”
I was so stunned by her brazen attempt at being a psychologist that I couldn’t speak. This bureaucrat thinks she has psychic powers! My last arrest at the time of the hearing was eight years ago! It was for marijuana.
She asked about the two moving violations I have. One is for driving with high beams in a dark area in Nassau county and the other is driving through Central Park with no passenger in the car.
“Oh, so you were driving in the wrong lane..?” She said.
“No, I was driving by myself in central park.” I responded.
“So you were driving in the wrong lane?” She repeated.
“No, it wasn’t the wrong lane. Central Park is a High Occupancy Vehicle drive.” (Two or more people in car) I attempted to explain.
“You were driving in the wrong lane.” She robotically stated again.
I could see at this point she didn’t want me to have a Yellow cab license.
I was right. About two or three weeks later I received the official letter stating so. I wrote and sent an appeal to her, only to receive what appears to be a slightly altered form letter sent presumably by Gary Weiss, the deputy commissioner of the licensing & standards, who claimed he went over my case and agreed with her.
Yet, the fact is at that point and until today I had a For-Hire vehicle license and, were it not for Aderonke E. and her hurt feelings and tiny self esteem (see blog entry ‘How people Hide Intellectually or the That’s-your-opinion-cut-off-switch’ for further details), I would have had NO complaints with the company I worked for, Dial 7. Did the TLC bureaucrats take this in consideration? I doubt it.
They are happier giving a license to foreigners who can’t speak a word of English. They are happier giving licenses to individuals who don’t know Times Square from Madison Square Garden. They would rather I disappear. This so clearly illustrates the fact that the bureaucracies are run by clueless brain dead zombies on petty power trips.
I’ve made my best effort to change my ways but I am a threat because I have a record and the foreigner doesn’t. My family and I suffer because of these pencil pushers have to put their own jobs and livelihoods over mine. Yet, we see over and over again where idiots like them make mistakes that cost lives. They are responsible for the down fall of our society and they will be the one who place you on a cattle car and off the F.E.M.A. you will go!
We need to get organized and get them out of here. The fact is that anyone who has dealt with the ‘system’ understands full and well that every department of the municipal government exists ONLY to devour the wealth of the people of New York City.

The Facist State and the Growing Police State

This is something that happens to many drivers. As cab, taxi or livery driver, we don’t have to wear seat belts until we are on the highway.
So I’m leaving my base and the street I went down to get to the highway is like this: Traffic signal, stop sign, Traffic signal. As I was pulling up to the stop sign a took out some itr (fragrance oil) I have and began to apply it to me beard. As I look to the left before reaching the corner, there he sat, at the stop sign, Mr. FascistPig. I made a full stop, and I could see him looking at me.
I have noticed that most pigs don’t like being looked in the eye, perhaps they feel intimidated. Maybe somewhere in their training it is mentioned that a dishonest person will look them in the eye, and those who are less intelligent among them believe it.
So I made a full stop, and continued. The pig follows, I figured he was leaving to go to another trap for motorist, but on go the lights.
I pulled over.
“May I have your license and registration?” He said automatically.
He began to look at everything for which some ticket could be written. The cars tags, me, the floor of the passenger side, etc.
“Why did you pull me over?” I asked as I handed him my license.
“You were on the phone and, uh, you don’t have your seat belt on.” Which he just noticed.
“I wasn’t on my phone. I was putting oil in my beard.”
“Do you have a phone?”
“Yes, it’s here in the holster.” I said while shifting in my seat to show him.
“This one here,” as I point to the nextel in the cup holder, “that I use for work.”
“Let me see it.” He asked.
I gave it to him. He looked and saw that it can’t be used to make telephone calls, only access my company’s server.
“Well, you still don’t have your seat belt.”
“But cab drivers don’t need to wear a seat belt until we get on the highway?”
“Yes, New York livery drivers but you have Jersey plates.”
Now, I must admit that he was not rude or hostile in any way. He was in fact pretty polite for a minion of the fascist state. But still, rather than let me go, he wrote me a ticket, in all likelihood to fill his quota or “projection” as the NYPD calls them.
“The information is on the back if you want to plead not guilty.” He said calmly as he walked away. Now, if I was in any other profession, I wouldn’t have the time to take off to go to court and have the ticket dismissed. That is what the state, meaning the government, counts on. Most people do not have the time to go to court so they wind up paying the ticket; further funding the state and financing their own enslavement.
Most people don’t realize how far we are from the original liberty our great-grand parents had in the United States. Just in a lifetime the police have transformed from being a sight and icon of comfort and safety into one of irritation and danger; the sight of a cop car on the road prompts motorist to flash their head lights to warn each other because we all know a parasite when we see it.
